We are excited to announce that we are launching a new medium to share information around the District about events, rules, and competitions. We are using a smartphone application called Team App.
What is it? Team App is a free app that can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet, and it allows you to “join” groups. Our group is called MDGA. Some of our local clubs are also adopting this app, so you can also join your own clubs’ group and see notifications from both the District and your club (or clubs).
What information will it show? Team App will be loaded with the MDGA event calendar. This will show you when the tournaments and major events for the year are scheduled across the District. Team App will also show the relevant Pennant draws and results for Scratch, Handicap, and Masters Pennant.
The MDGA will post useful information to Team App. This may include details such as Codes of Conduct, Representative Golf opportunities, links to Rules of Golf information, as well as District contact details.
Please take the time to download Team App now, and search for Murray District Golf Association to enjoy our team app on the go.
